Our approach to the diagnosis and treatment of each cancer differs, however it is best to always consider the organ of origin. For example, breast cancer is always considered breast cancer even if it spreads to other organs. If breast cancer spreads to the lung, our diagnostic and treatment approach is specific for breast cancer.
